9-12 September 2025, Santiago
The World Congress of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (IFSO Santiago 2025) concluded successfully in Santiago, Chile. LapObesity had the strongest Greek representation with four scientific presentations on current issues in bariatric surgery that sparked productive discussion.
The presentations included:
- Monitoring anti-Xa levels to optimize thromboprophylaxis after bariatric surgery
- Gastric and esophageal function one year after SASI
- Smart systems in bariatric surgery
- Conversion surgery from SASI to RYGB
Ongoing scientific engagement and international knowledge exchange remain central to our mission, combined with high-level surgical training and practice.
