My medical journey began at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where I obtained my medical degree. I completed my specialty training in Gastroenterology at “Evangelismos” General Hospital in Athens.
I currently work as an Attending Physician at the 2nd Gastroenterology Department of IASO Private Hospital, while also maintaining a private practice in Kolonaki, Athens.
I am specialized in the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. My daily clinical practice covers a wide range of digestive system disorders. I perform diagnostic and interventional endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and polyp removals. Additionally, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and anorectal conditions, such as the cauterization of warts and the management of sexually transmitted diseases.
I also have extensive experience in endoscopic management of obesity, using modern techniques such as gastric balloon placement, gastric Botox, and other advanced endoscopic methods.
