I completed my medical studies at the University of Patras in 2004 and specialized in Anesthesiology at the General Hospital of Nikaia “Agios Panteleimon” in 2012. In 2013, I earned the title of Diplomate of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (DESA), and since then I have focused on the perioperative care of surgical patients with complex needs.
From the beginning of my career, I have had a particular interest in the anesthetic management of patients with obesity, especially those undergoing bariatric surgery. I specialize in providing anesthetic care for laparoscopic and bariatric procedures, offering personalized management that ensures safety and optimal outcomes before, during, and after surgery.
I have been a certified Full Instructor in the Advanced Life Support (ALS) program since 2009 and regularly participate as a speaker in medical conferences and educational programs. My presentations cover topics such as fluid management strategies, cardiovascular monitoring, and anesthetic care of patients with complex metabolic disorders, including obesity.
Since 2012, I have been collaborating with the Athens Medical Group, and since 2021, I have been working as an Attending Physician in the ICU of Athens Medical Center, Peristeri. Bariatric anesthesia is a core focus of my professional activity, allowing me to contribute to improving the quality of life of patients with morbid obesity through advanced, evidence-based techniques.
