LapObesity took part at the 8th Panhellenic Congress of Medical/Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, a leading scientific meeting in the field of clinical nutrition. The conference took place on 11–13 April 2025 in Athens, hosted at Harokopio University.
Dimitrios Lapatsanis, Director of the Obesity and Metabolic Diseases Surgery Clinic, participated in the chairing of several sessions and delivered a lecture titled Metabolic surgery as first-line treatment for severe obesity and management of revisional procedures after weight regain.
Zoi Pafili, Clinical Dietitian-Nutritionist, presented a lecture titled The role of the dietitian in achieving effective outcomes in metabolic surgery.
Athanasios Pantelis, General and Bariatric Surgeon, spoke on Metabolic surgery in the era of GLP-1 receptor agonists.
The conference highlighted the importance of clinical nutrition in improving patient health and quality of life while bringing together experts from multiple disciplines to share knowledge and clinical experience.
