LapObesity participated in the 34th Panhellenic Congress of Surgery & International Forum, held on 19–23 November 2025 at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre.
This is the most important national scientific meeting in the field, bringing together leading Greek and international surgeons to exchange knowledge, experience and innovative practices across all domains of modern surgery.
Dimitrios Lapatsanis, Director of the Obesity and Metabolic Diseases Surgery Clinic, participated as an invited speaker in a roundtable on Metabolic Surgery. His lecture focused on the SADI-S surgical technique for the treatment of clinically severe obesity.
Athanasios Pantelis, General and Bariatric Surgeon, chaired the Oral Presentations in Metabolic Surgery, covering recent developments and clinical applications in the field.
We actively contributed to the ongoing discussion on morbid obesity and contemporary metabolic interventions.
