The 14th Panhellenic Congress of Obesity Surgery concluded with remarkable success, bringing together leading experts and bariatric surgeons from across Greece.
The LapObesity team had a strong and multifaceted presence:
- Dimitris Lapatsanis, Director of the Obesity and Metabolic Diseases Surgery Clinic, contributed with lectures and chaired several roundtable sessions.
- Athanasios Pantelis, General and Bariatric Surgeon, delivered presentations, shared research findings and participated in scientific commentary.
- Zoi Pafili, Dietitian–Nutritionist, presented on the prevention of metabolic deficiencies following bariatric procedures.
The quality of the presentations and the willingness to exchange clinical experience highlighted how the Greek bariatric community continues to advance through collaboration, critical thinking and ongoing education.
